Ma-aanaha, Mystic Dancer

Race: Half Human, Half Elf

Email: Fateoftaieliel@hotmail.com

Age: 42

Gender: Female

Birthplace: TBA

Appearance: Ma-aanaha's appearance lends more to her elven lineage than her human, although not as long lived as a pure Elf, she does have a longer life-span than a pure Human and thus retains her youthful look longer aswell.
She stands at 5 feet and 4 inches and thus is quite short, however she is very slender and with long dark hair and a very elfin face with pale blue eyes she makes a stunning sight that easily makes most males melt with just a gaze.

Strengths: Ma-aanaha possess extreme athletic ability and is remarkably quick on her feet, this makes her an excelent dancer and acrobat, she is able to perform very intricate moves aswell as she is ambidextrous and seems to be double-jointed in most places.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Although quick and capable of dancing and acrobatics for many hours Ma-aanaha is quite weak in other aspects, her slenderness means she has very little weight and thus is incapable of defending herself, she also has a level of arrogance which means she refuses to work or even accompany others and prefers to travel and perform on her own, this makes her bad company. She can also be a tease and will use her looks to get what she wants and then drop the ensared male once finished with, thus unsatisfied desire becomes anger.

Magic Ability/Craft: Ma-aanaha is a Mystic dancer, through her dancing she can perform and unusual form of magic, this is mostly used to create impressive illusions that can tell a kind of tale, this is perhaps one of Ma-aanaha saving graces and has enthralled many an audience. Through her dancing she is able to perform other kinds of magic, for a solo performance she can tell the future (or a possible future) for that person, for multiple audiences she can if she wishes gain a magical charm over those watching, however the larger the audience the harder this is, so this is usually used as defense against potential aggressors.
The Mystical Dancing's effects are very quick, thus the only way to stop their effects are to stop her from dancing at all or to be blind to the dancing's initiall effects, however she does also generate a sound based effect, but this takes longer to work.

Background: Ma-aanaha knows very little of her parents, she was raised in an orphanage at a very young age, during her time at the orphange her youth and mixed blood earned her many of the less desirable tasks, it was through this 'training' that she earned her incredible stamina, although her strength remained low.

Even at a young age she liked to dance and at this time she was innocent of the adult versions arrogance, it perhaps through this love for dance that she earned her freedom from the orphanage and slavery into a travelling circus. At first while she was still maturing, somewhat slower than a human pure-blood, she played as a dancing clown, made up and put into silly clothes to dance and act the fool for the audience, time passed and the circus ringleader passed ownership onto the son, who being a more attentive man than his father had realised that their apparantly eternally youthful dancing clown was in fact a rather stunning woman.

In a fit of fortune for Ma-aanaha and the loss of the circus the new ringleader allowed Ma-aanaha to dance as herself instead of as a clown, the audience were amazed, but none more than Ma-aanaha herself who in that first showing of her dancing talent had felt something else lurking behind her intricate moves. That night the circus earned more than it had in an entire year, for Ma-aanaha had weaved a mystical charm over her audience that resulted in all of them paying a tip, some more than they could afford, but none complained of this fact, for all they remembered was the most beautifaul dance they had ever seen!

For several months this went on, the circus moving quickly so as not to drain a town or village dry of what little money they had to start with, although sometimes as Ma-aanaha experimented with different dances the results could be drastically different, in some cases causing riots, althoguh none could remember the reason for starting, or who started it.
